Police in south suburban Richton Park are investigating a shooting at a bowling alley that left three people wounded Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred at the Lakewood Bowl at 5125 Sauk Trail at about 1:30 a.m., police said. Two victims were located at the scene when police arrived and a third victim drove himself to the hospital.

Two of the victims have been treated and released from the hospital. A third remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Three persons of interest, two adults and a juvenile, are in custody, police said.

The manager of the bowling alley said the shooting happened right in front of the entrance and a few bullets pierced the front glass doors. He said this has never happened before at the bowling alley and they would now be beefing up security. Lakewood Bowl normally opens at 9 a.m., and the manager said they hope to open Sunday afternoon.
