FOP President Dean Angelo, Board Member. Tom Mc Donough, Trustee Tom Lonergan and AETNA/SOURCE 1 Representative Jack Byrne will be coming to the Cape Coral Cop Shop, located at 822 SE 46 Lane, Cape Coral, FL. 33904, next Thursday, January 12 at 1:00 pm, for a special meeting/get together. They will be there to meet our group and any active member/retiree of Florida, and to answer questions about our health care and pension issues that are currently in court litigation. Dean will also address the possibility of out of state retirees replacing old, out of date "CPD ID" cards.

The RETIREE COMMITTEE sent a recommendation to President Angelo to allow retirees whose membership has expired or elapsed and were not allowed back in the FOP under a "PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION". Dean Angelo and his Board of Trustees sent this to the Board and it was UNANIMOUSLY approved this week! What this means is that a former member can come back into the FOP for only the current years dues.

This is HUGE...

Please pass this on to all your contacts and retirees who were not allowed to return in the past. I personally want to let you know that it was Dean and his Trustees that brought this to the table!
