Jimmy Dore's father and one of his brothers were Chicago police officers - Jimmy grew up in Chicago (Garfield Ridge / Vittum Park Area) and went to the West Coast to pursue a Stand-Up Comedy Career and is quite successful. Jimmy has 12 siblings for a total of 13 children.
His comedy has tends to be left/liberal viewpoint but he is still quite funny.
