The Daily Caller first reported that Hicks will be take the job. However, The New York Times reports that she’ll only be in the role on an interim basis until the position can be filled full-time.



The White House confirmed that Hicks will be Communications Director until a permanent director will be found. “We will make an announcement on a permanent communications director at the appropriate time,” the White House said.



She will replace Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired after only 11 days on the job.
